Possible Open World RP by Cyber

Mostly posting on here because Belial/Soloist couldn't see the FB page. This doesn't really mean much, just some skill tree ideas for a possible open world RP forum.





The idea is that each skill tree has four branch trees descending from it, two sets of polar opposites. Having certain prerequisites in two adjacent branch trees unlocks special skills in a cloud. Skill points are obtained simply by adding to a journal/bio/etc. page and the whole thing is very honor-system based. Players can rep up or down posts and someone with low rep has more privelages taken away so he or she is less of a negative effect on the rest of the players. There are flaws to the system, but nothing major that I can see so far.
