Paradigm of Victory

Continuation of our other RP

Val Guild tournament.

Sign your guild up for the greatest tournament
the world of Val has ever known!
The winning guild gets 100.000.000 Gold(not really)
and eternal glory!
The tournament will be held in 3 parts,
each with 3 rounds.
9 Rounds in total.

First part:
Monster hunt: Kill/capture all the monsters
in one area.
All the monsters are high level.
The highest scoring contestants win.
Judges give points based on quantity
and quality of monsters killed/captured.
Because the audience wants to see blood
capturing monsters is worth less points.(even though mostly its more difficult)

You are disqualified if..:
❖...You leave the enclosure.
❖...You run out of time (1 hour per round=60 post per person or something).
❖...You have 0 points when the game ends.
❖...You die.


Second part.

Guild vs Guild challenge.
Those that passed part one gather with the other remaining members
of their guild and compete against the teams of the other guilds.
Those still standing win,
those not standing lose and are disqualified.



Third Part.

5 winning guilds proceed to part 3.
One vs one combat tournament.
The winning contestants guild wins the entire tournament.

part 1. round 2

The hive:

The group of about 15 adventurers (us three including others from other guilds) started moving forward together.

"Well this isn't smart..the enemy could take us all out at once if we stay this close... rol, jex, lets ditch this party" Kenichi grabbed both rol and jex and dragged them in the opposite direction.The other people payed no mind to them.Kenichi felt slight vibrations in the ground that seemed to be slowly increasing in strenght.

"I think they're having a party or something i can feel the music.." It obviously wasn't music but for kenichi any group of monsters that aren't zombies, is a party.As they kept walking they started hearing buzzing sounds that seemed to cause the vibrations.They found the wasps, or did the wasps find them?

"Oh my. Wasps." Jex let himself be dragged across the floor then shook Kenichi's hand off. He listened for the low hum of wasps. "So, wasps bite and sting, right? And they don't die once the sting someone. Awe. That sucks. So, I guess, we have to stay away from both their stingers and mouths." He thought for a while then nodded at himself. "Sounds about right." A wasp appeared in front of him. Just a normal wasp. He screamed and released ten arrows of fire out of the end of his staff that all aimed at it and exploded on contact of one another. He was blown away and landed almost face first to the ground. "Also, have I ever mentioned that I am deathly afraid of all kinds of insects? Also arachnids."

Roltharus lazily went along with Kenichi, and by "lazily went a long" he almost fell asleep with Kenichi dragging him behind him. The bounty hunter stayed in his unconscious state until Jex screamed which, of course woke him up. "Huh? What the..?" Rol looked around uncomfortably forgetting where they were and why they were here. "Hey Ken, why- Oh shit there's a wasp!" Roltharus jumped behind Jex holding him in front, like a shield.

"Not as freaky as raptors, but Jesus Christ" Rol pulled out Pew and Pew.

Kenichi watched the two others running from a normal wasp."Meh atleast its not a zombie."He caught the wasp and squished it with his fingers."Seriously guys... what are you going to do when we find the giant wasp?.."


Just as he said that a small group of dog sized wasps came flying their way."Oh crap."Kenichi drew his katana and teleported backwards to where rol and jex were."Rol can you make an anti bug barrier with your shadows or something.And buy us some time to pee in our pants.. run?"

"I could possibly make a few giant fly swatters.. Although that wouldn't help for to long..." Roltharus pondered what to do next. He went through a multitude of ideas, some which crossed the line that should never be crossed. Others included a visit to multiple brothels and a jar of cookie dough. None would have worked.

"Oh well, when all is lost, blow shit up." The bounty hunter dropped a few mini-explosives in the air, and then swatted them towards the wasps before blowing them up. "YAY!" He shouted as he threw his arms in the air in a very exaggerated motion.

"Eeeek!"

Jex screamed once again. Why couldn't they have been wraiths instead!? He thought to himself. He pointed his staff at the wasps.

"If they don't get to me, it'll be fine."

He repeated the sentence in his mind again and again as he blasted the wasps with exploding fire arrows. He was actually doing well for someone who was deathly afraid of the creatures. Until one of them got through his arrows. It zipped by both Kenichi and Roltharus.

"Sh*t."

Was all he could say before he instinctively delivered an uppercut with his free hand to the wasp and blasted it while it was above him, dropping burnt wasp pieces everywhere.

"Yes!"

He cheered... Until he realized-

"EW! I touched it! I touched it! I TOUCHED IT!!!"

((Seriously, should keep this on Gaia, just this one though.))

Thoughts: I hate wasps!

"I'm sick of these motherfucking wasps in this motherfucking plane cave-thingy!!" Kenichi said as he blasted the wasps with ki blasts."You guys have the ranged attacks! all i have is these ki blasts that don't seem to be working! Arceusdammit!!...Retreat!! fucking retreat NOW!!!" Kenichi started running as the wasps kept on coming.He grabbed Rol and dragged him along as he boosted his running speed with blue ki and tried to get some distance between them and the wasps. Rol did not master blue ki movement so he wouldn't be able to keep up, and kenichi wasn't going to leave his friends behind.((Jex has dubstep quickstep ))

Jex shook his hand like a little kid that had recently touched something it didn't like and thought was disgusting. He was slightly crying at the thought of him touching the wasp. He took Rol's advice and his hand burst in flames. Basic fire magic. Setting things on fire.

"Ah... All better now... Wait... Shit, my hands on fire!"

Jex shook his hand which extinguished the fire. Gladly, it didn't burn his skin. He turned around to see that Ken had started running away, dragging Rol behind him. Jex yelped then hopped on his staff and followed.

"Wait! Where exactly are we off to!?"
