Pokemon Hash brown version

A mysterious figure stands before you in the fog. You hear it speak to you.

"You.. are you a boy or a girl? Seriously, I can't tell because of this stupid fog."

>"I'm a boy.."


"You sure about that? You don't sound very masculine. Well then Yu.. I will be guiding you on your journey."

You wonder how the figure knows your name but you shrug it off. You're probably just dreaming.

"The time has come for you to take charge and make your own destiny. Starting today Your life will change forever. Only you can prevent forest fires the coming disaster. Prepare yourself. Good luck to Yu-

"Yu! YU! Time to wake up! You'll be late!"

Your mother's voice. Thats right! Today is the day you get your first pokemon! You open your eyes and jump out of bed. Already dressed because you didn't want to risk being late.

You are in your room. What will you do?


>Watch tv
>Go on the computer
>Open your closet
>Go straight downstairs

>Closet

You walk to your closet because your clothes might stink from wearing them all night. You should at least change your underwear.

In your closet you find;

• Turtle neck sweater x3
  
• V neck black t-shirt
  
• blue Ripped jeans
  
• Black jeans
  
• Black boots
  
• pink Sneakers
  
• Pokemon costume
  
• Hoothoot printed underwear x4
  
• one Potion
  

>Put on the black jeans black boots and black v-neck


You get dressed quickly. You look in the mirror and nod aprovingly. What now?


>Watch tv
>Go on the computer
>Take something else from your closet
>Go straight downstairs

>And take the potion.

You take the potion and close your closet. This will certainly come in handy. You look at the clock on your wall and notice that you're almost late! You need to head to profesor Oak's lab now!
You rush down the stairs and run out the door. Your mother tries to say something but you're already gone. 

You reach the lab, exhausted from running.


>Knock on the door
>Barge in

>Knock

You knock on the door and wait. Hoping that you aren't late.
The door opens and your rival steps out.


"Finaly gramps! I've been waiting for half an h- Oh its just Yu. Ugh  What the hell are you doing here loser? Nevermind, I'm waiting for Gramps to come back so shoo."

He closes the door in your face. Seems like the profesor isn't at the lab. What will Yu do?


>Enter the lab

>Go back home
>Look for the profesor around town
>Do nothing and stare at the door like a goof


Note: You can name your rival if you want.

>Go straight to the tall grass


Because the professor isn't here you won't get your pokemon yet. But Arceus dammit, today was supposed to be the day your journey started! If you can't get a damned Pokemon from the profesor you'll go get one yourself!

You run all the way to the edge of the town. In front of you is the fabled long grass that contains wild pokemon within! You take a deep breath and step into it. And thats when!!!
Nothing happens.

The grass tickles as you walk in it. You keep walking in circles. But nothing is happening! They said this is how you enounter pokemon! Are you doing it wrong or was it all lies?
You are now Dissapointed.

But then all of a sudden "PIKAAA!" Something hits your back and you fall down. When you look up a wild pokemon is staring threatingly at you. It's a pikachu! It looks angry and it is likely that it will attak you again. What will you do?


>Run
>Stare at the cute fuzzy probably rabid rodent
>Try catching it with your bare hands
>Wet your pants

You jump at the pokemon. It didn't expect this and in its surprise it failed to get away. You hold on to to pikachu as it scratches and bites you. You might want to go see a doctor after this.
Suddenly a spark, before you get a chance to respond you feel the electricity running through your body. It hurts badly.

Once you let go of the pikachu it slips away and growls at you while you squirm on the ground. Yu's attack fell!
You try getting up but you can barely move. Yu is Paralyzed, he might not be able to attack. What will Yu do?

>Try again


You squirm until you manage to sit on your knees. You lunge at the pikachu before you again. It easily dodges your attempt.
Its cheeks light up. You brace yourself.

A sphere flies over your head and hits the pikachu. The pikachu gets drawn into the pokeball. It shakes a few times before you hear the ping sound. You hear a voice calling out to you right before you pass out. "Are you okay?!"


When you open your eyes you are surrounded by the thick fog again. "We meet again."
In front of you is the figure from your dream this morning. The fog is still too thick to see it clearly. What will you do?

>Ask if the figure was the one to catch the pokemon.


"No. That wasn't me. Luckily someone found you before it injured you too badly. Attempting to capture a wild pokémon with your bare hands is generally a dumb move. But at least you've proven to have a strong will. You will need that strenght to overcome what lies in your future."

The figure pauses.

"You will wake up soon. Whatever happens from now on will be because of the choices you make, I am merely your guide. So be carefull, try using a pokemon next time you get attacked. Trust me, it would be far less painfull."


The figure before you fades away. You slowly feel yourself opening your eyes. Everything is still a blur. "He's awake." You hear a voice while your sight focuses itself again. You are lying on a bed in the lab.
In front of you is professor Oak and his douche of a grandson.

Professor Oak:"Are you okay, Yu? We found you while you were being attacked by a wild pokemon."
Rival:"What a wuss you are. Can't even stand your own against a mouse."

You slowly get up. "It seemed like a good idea at the time."


Oak:"Now you know it wasn't. To make sure this doesn't happen again I'll give you a pokémon. There on the table is a pokeball. Its yours now."

You walk over to the table and reach for the ball. Suddenly your (still nameless) rival pushes you, you slam into the wall. It seems today is not your lucky day.
Your rival picks up the pokeball.


"No way! This one is mine! You promised I'd get a pokemon once he woke up gramps!"

Oak: "Oh that's true. Sorry about that. Come here Yu I'll let you have this one."

He pulls another pokeball out of his pocket and hands it to you.
You recieved your first pokemon! Pikachu!

Oak: "Its the one you encountered earlier. It's not tame yet but if he starts acting out just call him back in his ball."

You thank the professor and walk away. Before you can leave the lab however.


"Hey Yu! Lets test out our pokemon. I want to see your face when you lose. hehe."

Your rival sends out Eevee. You send out Pikachu.

What will your pikachu do?


Fight:

Run

>Growl


You tell your pikachu to use growl. It growls, at you. Your attack falls.
Your rival laughs and tells his eevee to use tackle. It charges at the pikachu and hits it.
Your pikachu gets knocked down. It gets back up and growls at the eevee before tackling it back and spamming thundershock on it.
Professor Oak and your rival look shocked as your pikachu pummels the eevee.



>Tell it to stop.
>Watch silently

>Punt the pikachu

You tell the pikachu to stop. It doesn't listen.

Prof. Oak:"Return it to its ball!"

You return the pikachu to its ball and have probably saved that eevee's life.
You get 175 pokedollars. You now have 3175 pokedollars.

Prof Oak:"I'll take care of the eevee. Yu you can go out and start your journey, just be carefull with that pokemon."

You walk to your rivals house and knock on the door. A girl opens the door, his sister.

"Oh hi Yu. Are you looking for my brother? He's at the lab with our grandfather. Or is that not why you're here?" o.o



>"Oh, Ok. Sorry to disturb you."
>"I know, I was just there and beat him in a pokemon battle."
>"No, I'm here to talk to you."
>"Pfft, why would I be looking for that loser."
>"..."
> other:"???" (specify what to say)

>Other:
"Nah, saw your brother earlier already. Just was stopping by because your alone and I wanted to check up on yo- LET US PARTAKE IN COITUS, PLEASE?"



"..."
Awkward silence.
"Is Coitus some kind of new pokemon?"
More awkward silence.
"It's sweet that you thought of me though." She smiles. "Want to come in?"

>"Sure."

You go inside the house, she closes the door. She smiles at you. "Make yourself at home." She says while walking behind you as you move towards the living room. It seems that she's extra cheerfull today. Then again, she's always cheerfull.


"Want something to drink?" You sit down on the couch. 





(Reminder, the rival and his sister have still not been named. Even though I could easily name them myself, I'm lazy.)

>Yes please.


"The same as usual, right?" She asks without waiting for a reply. You've known her and her brother for years. So you just nod as she walks into the kitchen, knowing she know exactly what you want. (That too, probably. But I meant the drink.)

She walks back in and gives you your drink.(Whatever it is, I dunno.)
She then plops down beside you on the couch. "So, Yu, anything new in your life?" She asks with a smile as she twirls her hair.




(Why is this turning into a dating sim? We're playing pokemon here dammit! ... By which I mean: Why isn't this in the actual pokemon games?!)

>"I'm.. I'M GONNA BE THE VERY BEST, LIKE NO ONE EVER WAS!"


"..."
Another Awkward silence

"The best at what?"
She stares at you with a puzzled look on her face.




(Was tempted to auto reply to make this post longer. But: The helix said no. )

>"Uh.. The Pokemon thing.."


"You're gonna be a pokemon trainer?! Oh my Arceus! Congratulations!"
She hugs you.

She's still hugging you.

Squeezing thight.
...

>"Not.. Air... Much darkness... Is.. Is that the light?"

Grasp frailly at nothing.

"Oh sorry." She releases you.
As blood and oxygen returns to your head you start thinking how it would have been a nice way to die. So tight but so soft at the same time.~
"Are you okay?" She asks with a worried expression on her face.

>"I've been worse. It was a rather pleasant pain.." 

Finish drink.


"Pleasant pain? ..Oh, that reminds me, pokemon trainers have to travel a lot don't they? Do you have a map? You wouldn't want to get lost now would you?"
She jumps off the couch while you finish your moomoo milk. She runs upstairs and after a short while she returns with a map in her hands.


"I had this spare one, I want you to have it." She smiles as she hands it to you.


Yu has received the world map!


"It's kinda sad though. I won't be able to see you for a long while, I'll kinda miss you." She smiles a bit sadly.

>"Sweet, geographic images"

"Uh.. Well, Pokemon can fly right? Infact, I can send you mail via flying pokemon and send you pictures."

"Oh that's sweet of you. I'd like that, I've always wanted to see what its like outside of this town. But I never had the chance." She responds, totally oblivious to hints at sexting.


She then sits back down next to you and looks into your eyes. "But you don't have to leave right now, right?" She puts her hand on yours. "Please stay, for just ..a bit longer?"

>"Uh...kay"



"...I-I'm sorry."

She removes her hand from yours as her expression saddens.



"I made you feel awkward. I shouldn't have.. You don't like me that way, I get it. It's okay, you can go on. Start your journey. I'll be rooting for you." She smiles faintly.

>"Oh... Oh. OOOOOOH. Uh. What? What was I doing. What."


"..Are you okay?.. You seem a bit out of it today. "

She asks, obviously worried about you.


"Did you get hurt or something? Maybe you should rest before going on your adventure. If you want I'll go make you some hot chocolate moomoo milk while you lay down."

>"I would like some of your milk" - totally not edited by Dean, seriously.

"Uh, yeah lie down.. Good idea."


"Okay. Lay down, I'll be right back."

She gets up and walks to the kitchen. You lay down on the couch. Still feeling the wounds that pikachu gave you. You wonder if you'll be able to control this wild pokemon. Maybe you should ask Oak to give you a tame one instead. Your eyes become heavy as you try to think of a way to tame your pikachu.


"Hello again."

You recognize that voice. You open your eyes and see that once again you are surrounded by fog. The figure is once again in front of you.


"It seems you are having some doubts. Not without reason. Your Pikachu's raw power is great but he seems to be uncontrolable. But your meeting with him was not without reason. Do not give up.
His mind is merely clouded by thoughts of revenge. Next time you summon him, make it clear that you can help him get his revenge. If you do that, Kiro will follow you. As long as you don't break that promise. Now wake up...wake up."


"Wake up yu, Wake up, I brought your coocoo milk."

You open your eyes. Shelly (rivals sister) is standing over you. You smell the yummy chocolate moomoo milk and sit up.


"Oh, you're awake. I'm sorry it took so long. How are you feeling?"
