When you return you notice that the girls are sitting much closer to each other than before. And did they just kiss? Nah, must have been your imagination. When you get closer Mii scoots away though, and both of them are blushing. Huh, weird.
"W-well this was nice. But we really should get going! So many diglets to see, so little time!" Mii laughs nervously and starts to pack up her things.
Shelly starts to pack up as well. So you decide to also pack up.
You feel like all three of you have gotten much closer. Much closer.

You train Toothless and have him spar against endo. Who in turn is enjoying a friendly spar with a fellow poison type.
Both pokemon's bond increases. Toothless goes up to a close bond (4/6) and can now evolve into Crobat. Let him?
Endo goes up to a Happy (2/6) and can now evolve into Ivysaur. Let him?

After an intense training session you head to the diglet cave. Shelly is very excited.
When you get there you descend down a ladder into the tunnel.
Immediately you notice the tunnel is much larger than you imagined. There's plenty of room for several onix to pass by, theoretically. Light filters into the tunnel from hundreds of tiny holes in the ceilling.
"Wow." Shelly gasps.
The three of you start making your way through the tunnel. It doesn't take long before you spot the diglet. A small group of them pop out of the wall next to you.

endo drop vine whip with solar beam
i was debating keeping air cutter for aoe coverage, but switching it for wing attack sounds stronger.
send out psyche w/ a sleep powder and rol w/ a fury swipes at the closest. definitely gonna try catchin one.
You let both pokemon evolve and they learn a new move each.

You send out Psyche and Mii sends out Rol.
Rol is the fastest and fury swipes one of the diglett three times before it hides down it's hole.
Two more diglett disappear into their hole and start digging. The remaining three diglett scratch at Rol. Individually they don't hurt much but put together it's a bit more painful.
Psyche flaps her wings and blows a cloud of sleep powder at the diglet. Two of the diglett fall asleep. One shakes it off. The three underground are not affected.

psybeam on to the diglet above ground that isnt sleep.
if the diglet's hp goes to the yellow or red from rol's fury swipe (and doesnt possibly die) throw a pokeball at it.
Rol hits the sleeping diglett twice but his attack is interrupted when one of the digging diglett pops up out of the ground and attacks him.
He swiftly dodges but then another diglett pops out from below him. This one hits but Rol manages to stay on his feet.
That's when the third diglett pops up, Rol almost dodges it but the blow is hard enough to hit him anyway. Rol is now heavily wounded.
Two of the diglett are sound asleep.
The last diglett digs under ground.
Unfortunately that was Psyche's target, luckily she's smart enough to instead attack one of the other diglet that just popped up. It hits and does some good damage.
(Not sure you wanna throw a ball at the yellow ones since they aren't sleeping. So I won't do that this turn.)

Rol gets switched out for Scott.
Immediately Scott gets hit by the digging diglett. It hurts.
The two diglett that are asleep stay that way. The other three disappear under the ground again.
Psyche shoots a psybeam at the only non sleeping diglett above ground. It hits and hurts.
Scott shoots bubbles at the front diglett. The second front diglet is underground so the bubbles hit nothing. The sleeping diglett is less lucky and does get hit, the bubbles pop harshly. It's super effective.
Scott heals a bit.
(I'll assume you'll want to throw a pokeball now and do just that.)
Yu throws a pokeball. It doesn't even wiggle it just clicks shut. Congrats you caught a diglett!
(We'll deal with what to do with it after the battle unless you want to run now.)

The targeted diglett disappears underground.
One of the diglett pops up out of the ground and hits Scott. Sending him into the air, as soon as he lands another diglett comes up and sends him flying again and then a third. When Scott hits the ground the fourth time he doesn't get back up.
The last diglett is still sleeping.
Psyche targets the closest diglett instead. It hits and the diglett's heavily wounded.
Mii returns Scott to his ball. "We should send out more pokemon."
"I think we should run." Shelly says.
The last diglet pops back out of the ground. It's dig attack can't reach the flying Psyche.

(Also I realized that a pretty long time ago I made a comment about poison being weak to ground which is true. But since we were talking about Bulbasaur back then I now realize the grass type would cancel out that weakness. So Endo is perfectly viable against ground types. Brain farts of mine.)

You send out Toothless and Endo.
Toothless attacks the diglett with his wing but the Diglett ducks under the ground and the attack misses.
The three digging diglett pop up on the other side, leaving you surrounded.
Endo fires a flurry of razor sharp leaves at the three diglett. One of them dodges. The other two get hit. It's super effective! Both of them are knocked out.
Just as the diglett on the other side comes back up after dodging Toothless it gets hit by a psybeam from psyche. It hurts and keeps it from attacking Toothless.

Endo giga drains the diglett, it's super effective! The Diglett faints. Endo heals.
Psyche again changes target. The diglett tries his best to avoid the incoming psybeam. For a moment it seems like it'll outrun the beam but then it hits. All the diglett have now fainted.

You give Digsby to Shelly. She really loves it. You've gained points with her. You've unlocked a diglett costume, buy it in the shop later if you want to see it ( Don't really have an idea for it right now but I'm sure I can come up with something cute).
You turn back and start to run.
While you're running you suddenly feel the ground beneath your feet shift. All three of you fall down three meters. None of you are hurt but you quickly realize you're trapped in a wide pit. Behind you four diglett pop up. In front of you two more of them pop out of the ground. Followed by a dugtrio.
You've been trapped in a sand arena, there's no escape.

The two diglett near the dugtrio slash at Crystal. It barely scratches her. Her crystal body reflects the blows back to the diglett.
The two diglett on the other side that aren't underground slash at Psyche. This does hurt.
Crystal breathes a dragon breath on the diglett in front of her. It doesn't hurt them much.
Endo unleashes a flurry of razor leaves. It's super effective. Both Diglett faint.
Psyche flaps her wings and blows a cloud of sleep powder at the diglett. But nothing happens.

Endo growls and unleashes another flurry of razor leaves. It's super effective!
The two diglett go down. The Dugtrio barely manages to hang on.
Psyche flies over and blows a cloud of sleeping powder at the dugtrio. It's too weak to resist and falls asleep.

You switch out Endo for Rol.
The Dugtrio is fast asleep.
The two diglett underground pop back up and attack Rol. The first one misses completely because it aimed where Endo was standing.
The second one nearly hit but Rol's ability kicks(spidey sense or plot armor?) in and he swiftly dodges the hit that would have KO'd him.
Rol Points down, the diglett falls for the feint for a split second, just enough for Rol to hit him. It hurts a lot! The diglett barely manages to stay conscious.
Psyche launches a beam of brightly colored psychic energy at the other diglett. It hurts.
You hurl a great ball at the sleeping dugtrio. It wiggles twice before the dugtrio breaks free.

The remaining diglett Slashes at Rol. Rol doesn't even see it coming. He is knocked out.
"Damn it" Mii swears.
Psyche launches another psybeam at the last diglett. It hits directly. It is now very wounded but doesn't seem to be giving up.

Lucy and Toothless fly you out of the pit. You then run towards the exit.
As you glance back you see the diglett filling the pit back up.
You make it out safely. Mii heads to the pokecenter. You follow her and get your pokemon healed up.

You open the walkthrough on your pokedex.
"Next up your first instinct will be to head east. However once you do this you'll soon find out this is a dead end for now. The snorlax blocking your path can't be moved or woken up just yet. You'll have to find another route to get to Lavender town.
You can get there by going back to Cerulean city. While you're there you can meet up with Misty. You can go on a date with her and/or fight her again. If you're romancing her or going for the full harem you should do both. After that you can head east towards rock tunnel.
However if you go on a date with Misty make sure you're already in a polyamorous relationship with Shelly. (You aren't yet. Will be tomorrow in game, probably.) Or she might get mad.
At this point there will also be a sidequest open in Pewter City. Brock needs your help with something again. If you complete the quest you will get an old amber, which you can revive into an aerodactyl in the Cinnabar labs. You'll also get the chance to capture a rare pokemon during this sidequest. Once it's done talk to Brock again, he will organize a special free for all tournament. Winning this tournament earns you money and a rock tomb TM. It will also give you points towards Junko's relationship. Who as always will be entering the tournament as well.
Both the sidequest and tournament are optional and can be started whenever you wish. So you don't have to do them at this point in the game. However unless you have enough flying pokemon getting back to pewter city will be difficult after this point. (You don't have enough flying pokemon. You need one for each of you three, or one that is strong enough to carry 2 like a charizard for example.) So doing it while you're close to Diglett tunnel is a good idea."

Bruce Ice punches the oddish, it hits and it's super effective! He follows it up with a normal punch with his other fist. This one only grazes the oddish.
The oddish launches a glob of acid but Bruce sidesteps it easily. The acid splashes on the ground and burns some grass.

Bruce Ice punches the Weepinbell, it's super effective! He follows it up with a PAWNCH to the side. It looks like he's hitting a vegetarian punching bag.
The weepinbell jumps back and unleashes a flurry of razor leaves. Bruce almost manages to avoid the attack but is hit with it at the last second. He quickly recovers.

You decide you've earned a break. You spend the rest of the day chilling in the pokecenter. Then it's time to head to bed.
The next morning you wake up early. Something is missing. It's colder than normal. Your Bedwarmer isn't next to you and there's no trace she has been in your room tonight.
It's still too early so you fall back asleep.
When you get out of bed you see Shelly and Mii sitting at the breakfast table already. They give you an awkward glance. You have breakfast with them. Nobody says anything for a while.
It's Shelly that breaks the silence. "Hey Yu, there's something.." She pauses and looks at Mii. Mii looks back at her, they both seem nervous. "Umm, I'm not sure how to say this but.."
"Me and Shelly are dating, I think.. wait are we? This is confusing." Mii blurts out.
"Yeah, I.. think so?" Shelly turns to you again. "I'm so sorry. I know you and I were.. it was you I wanted to date.. but things happened and.. does this count as cheating? I'm so sorry."
Mii shakes her head. "I don't think it's cheating, you two weren't exclusive yet anyway, right?"
"Sure, but .. I don't know. I still feel guilty."
Mii looks to the side. "Yeah.."
"Yu, I.. I don't know what to do." A tear flows down her cheek.
