If you want to get through viridian forest without backtracking to the pokecenter a couple of times? Yes.
Antidotes would be handy too. You already have one but weedle, weedle errywhere.

When this started I warned everyone this would be harder than the real games. (Not that thats saying much.)
On the bright side, rol gets to actually do something for once lol.

So I wont know the opponents ability till I send out a mon? Just wondering as I've yet to see the stat thread but am wondering if either Nidoran has Rivalry.

I forgot how abilities show up.. I assumed you didn't know what ability it has until caught?
