It doesn't matter.

There's three options:

1. Go now: Misty might really like that but then you'd be stuck apologizing to the other girls. Then again, maybe better to ask for forgiveness rather than permission?
   
2. Go later today: Gives both of you a bit of time to prepare. Like in a few hours from now would be good. Not too late though, just because you don't really have much else to do to fill the time in between. (I'd say 3-6 PM/ 15:00-18:00 ish should be a good time.)
   
3. Go tomorrow: Basically go complete the Pewter side quest first and return tomorrow for the date. Probably the most efficient use of time, not that time really matters in game.
   

You could do it later than that but honestly that wouldn't make much sense because by then you'd be in/past rock tunnel probably and returning to Cerulean would be hard.

so what does whirlwind do, hashbrown wise? becos i know in games it just switches a trainers pokemon or ends a wild battle, what is it's function in this?

Hmm. Had to think about this one a bit.

Mostly the same as in the games. The only exception being certain wild boss fights who would be immune. (Like the giant tentacruel back in Vermillion)

I'll also allow some more freedom with it. Like how you used an escape rope to set a trap instead of it's normal function. If you can find a different use for whirlwind that makes sense in the moment, I say go for it. It will still be up to the dice if it succeeds obviously.

I vaguely recall thinking whirlwind could be used differently somehow. But I don't think I could find it even if I had writen it down at some point. So /shrug.

kiro with a thunderbolt at the pidgey that's on the opposite side as the bellsprout lucy goes for.

then lucy can finish of (or try to) the injured bellsprout with an aerial ace

and lucy can drill peck both at the meowth obv (becos he's the only one left)

the smart thing would be bringin out some aoe or figure out a way to just smack the abra who's probably like.. mind controlling the other pokes. but i don't rly think that's a line of play we can efficiently do.

Well I intended that option to just be a "waste time" thing. While that book probably doesn't exist you do have the Walkthrough on your pokedex. Where there is a dating Misty section.

So if you have questions just ask them and I'll write the relevant sections in the post. Or if you just want a general overview I could do that too.

Speaking of the dating stuff I am probably going to simplify it somehow. Don't want it to take too long. If that's okay with you.

My first question is which of the gifts in Yuu's inventory were purchased for Misty initially? Since there's a solid four options there.

2nd. i remember two option being suggested. which was lighthouse by the beach and/or swimming in the river? is there a reason to scout out either location before hand to avoid trouble?

and 3rdly. how to approach misty w/ an invitation to a harem lol
