Bruce leapt at the Geodude and struck him so fast he couldn't defend himself. The geodude tumbled over the ground and didn't get back up. It was super effective.
Brock nodded and sent out his next pokemon, Onix.
Its roar shook the ground.

The Onix's tail charged forward and grabbed Bruce binding and squeezing him.
Bruce manages to get free after two squeezes.
He then drops down and attempts to kick the Onix at it's balance point but screws up and hits the wrong point. The Onix still falls but not as hard as he normally would have. (rolled a 1 here)

The Onix charged forward and tackled Bruce. Bruce defended himself and avoided a direct hit. He climbed up the onix, ran down his back, jumped off and kicked him right when he tried to attack him again. It was a super effective critical hit!
The onix lost its balance and crashed head on into the wall before falling down hard. It tried to get back up but was unable to. Bruce wins.

Bruce levels up twice. Bruce is about to learn Fury swipes. Replace a move for it?
You won the boulder badge! You also get 2400 pkd.

Brock walks up to you and congratulates you. He also gives you the TM Bide.
"You're welcome for a sparring match any time." The gym leader says. You and brock are now friends.

"Using Onix's weight against it was a nice move. Not many rookie trainers use tactics like that. You probably wouldn't mind if I didn't hold back next time we fight, right?"
You and Brock talk about pokemon, tactics and of course girls. You got some relationship points.

"It's a really hard choice, I just can't do it. Who would you pick? Nurse Joy or Officer Jenny?"

What will you do next?

You head over to where Mii is sitting. "Yo, that battle went better than I expected. Guess you were right earlier." You talk to Mii for a while. You earn some relationship points.

"I'm off to get some food, I don't think any more battles will happen today anyway. Cya." Mii walks off, raises her hand and sort of waves without looking back.

What will you do next?

You head to the pokecenter. After healing up Bruce you go to eat dinner. You see Mii sitting at a table eating too. Go sit with her?

You ask Shelly if she minds to sit with Mii.
"Hmm? She can be kind of bitchy but other than that she's not that bad. Sure let's go sit with her."

You and Shelly walk over to Mii's table. "Hello, Mii was it, right? Can we join you?" Shelly asks.
Mii looked up. "Oh you two, sure whatever." The redhad shrugs.
You two sit down and order some dinner.

"We should have a rematch some time. Not now ofcourse, I should catch more pokemon first."
Mii says as she eats her pizza. "You guys leaving town soon? I know I am. Got the local badge and the wild pokemon around here are too weak. Nothing left to do here."

"You could go to the museum. They have interesting displays." Shelly says.
"Ugh, museums. Boring shit. Overpriced too. Why pay to see a meteorite and some fossils? You can see those things on Mt. Moon for free probably, if you look hard enough."

An awkward silence follows for a while until Mii breaks it. "The only interesting thing about this town is the fog. First in the forest and then in the caves. That can't be a coincidence. something about it gives me chills."

"We heard the fog used to be common a long time ago. They told us this old legend while selling us this fog-horn. It was kind of weird." Shelly adds.
"Seriously you bought a fog-horn? What for?"

"No idea." Shelly turns to you. Mii also looks at you and raises an eyebrow.


What will you do after dinner?

You finish dinner and head out for some more grinding. Shelly stays behind in the pokemon center becaus she's tired. You don't know where Mii went, she didn't say.
A duo of Rattata show up.

Bruce Karate chops a Rattata and knocks it out super effectively.
The other Rattata tackles Bruce when he's not paying attention and gets a critical hit in.
Nidowin Double kicks the Rattata. But slips up twice and doesn't get a direct hit in. It's still super effective.

You send out Kiro and he unleashes HELL his thundershock upon the Rattata.
Both middle rattata are knocked out in one strike. The two rattata in front are hit badly by sparks and are paralyzed. The two in the back jumped back far enough to avoid it.
Bruce and Nido swoop in, Bruce low kicks a rattata while it's still 'shocked' from Kiro's attack and takes it out easily.
NidoWin gets a critical hit in and also takes out the rattata in one hit.

The two rattata in the back jump forward, one uses tail whip on Bruce. Lowering his defense, the other tackles nidowin.

Kiro quickly leaps towards the rattata on the right. Jumping over Nido before landing a super fast tackle to the rattata. It does a lot of damage.
Kiro steps aside and lets Nido finish the rattata off with a single kick and a second kick for no reason. It's super effective. The Rattata is knocked out.
Bruce Meanwhile grabs the other rattata and throws it against the ground.
It does another tailwhip and lowers Bruce's defenses more.

Kiro unleashes a thundershock. The middle Nidoran was hit but not directly. The other two are hit by sparks. One was hurt more than the other.
Bruce leaps forward swipes at the Nidoran, hurting it. He swipes again and lands a critical hit, taking the nidoran out.
Nidowin attacks the other Nidoran with his horn. It hurts it.

The right nidoran double kicks Nidowin. But it barely hurts him. Probably more of a tickle.
The Middle one tries to tackle Kiro but he dodges it.

Bruce releases a fury of 5 swipes. The nidoran is knocked out after the second one. You have to pull Bruce off the poor creature.

A Beedrill swarm attacks.

You send out everyone except Lucy.
Kiro starts off the battle and unleashes a thundershock upon the swarm. It hits the center four and sparks damage the ones on the outside. Two beedrill are now paralyzed.
Bruce jumps in and unleashes fury swipes on the front beedrill. He gets 4 hits in, one of them a critical one. The beedrill faints.
Nidowin rams through with his horn and hits the designated beedrill. Almost taking it out.
Psyche uses confusion on the middle back beedrill. She lands a critical hit and smashes the beedrill through a tree.

Four of the Beedrills stab at Kiro with poisoned stingers. Kiro is hit by the first one but dodges the next two by jumping up, the last one manages to hit him. But it doesn't hurt him much. And that beedrill gets zapped by Kiro's static, paralyzing it.
The other two Beedrills can't move due to paralysis.

Toothless bites one of the beedrills for good measure. It hurts it. The Beedrills regroup.

Kiro once again unleashes his thundershock upon the beedrill. Taking out the two middle ones and badly hurting the middle back one. The other two in the back are also hurt and sparks hit the one in front.
Bruce and Nidowin flank the beedrill in the back. Bruce low kicks, It does some damage.
Nidowin double kicks and gets a critical hit in but it does as much as Bruce's attack. Neither are very effective.

"Beedrill have a double resistance to fighting type attacks!" Shelly would say if she was here.


Psyche uses confusion on the beedrill in the middle back. The beedrill breaks through it but succumbs to its injuries a second later.
Toothless bites the beedrill up front but it defends itself.

The three beedrill gang up on toothless with a fury of attacks. In total they get 10 hits in. Toothless is heavily damaged. The three beedrill regroup.

Bruce and Nido attack the front beedrill together. Bruce's first hit is partly blocked but the second one breaks through and is a direct hit. He then jumps aside allowing Nido to finish it off with his horn attack.

Before the other beedrill can react Kiro slams into the right one and takes it out as well.
Psyche grabs the last one with confusion and throws it against the ground. The beedrill manages to get back up and tries to escape but Toothless swoops in, bites and drains what little life it had left. (1hp)

Everyone gains exp. Psyche and Toothless level up.

Three butterfree show up.

You switch out toothless for Lucy.
Kiro starts off with a thundershock but he messes up and hits the ground in front of the first buterfree. Luckily the shock is so big that it hits anyway. It's super effective. The butterfree barely hangs on.
Some sparks damage the other two.
Lucy swoops in and finishes the front one off with one attack. In her fury she lands 4 more hits Almost knocking it out twice.
Bruce jumps on the butterfree on the right and swipes at it three times. The first is a critical hit, the second a miss and the third lands but is not a direct hit.
Nidowin follows up on this with a horn attack. It's not a direct hit but the butterfree does sustain damage.
Psyche releases a cloud of sleeping powder and the butterfree on the right falls asleep. The one on the left manages to avoid the cloud.

The butterfree that is still awake releases a cloud of poison. Nido is unaffected, Psyche and Kiro are out of its range. Bruce manages to avoid it but Lucy gets poisoned. The poison hurts her.

Lucy swoops in and takes out the butterfree before it knows what hit it. Its super effective!
Kiro changes targets to the sleeping one and tackles it quickly. Bruce follows right behind him and furiously attacks the sleeping enemy three times. One hit a critical, the next finishes it off and a last one for no reason.

Everyone gains exp.

After a while of searching you find a lone weedle.

Lucy doesn't even have to try and easily picks off the weedle. She gains a small amount of exp.


A rattata seems to be having a skirmish with a metapod. And by skirmish I mean its attacking it and the metapod is just hardening itself in defense.

Lucy uses aerial ace on the metapod, its super effective but its extra hardened body endures the blow. Only for Kiro to finish it and the rattata off.

Lucy is still poisoned and gradually loses hp.


You wander around not finding any pokemon for a while. It's getting late and it's been a long day, you are feeling tired. Then you see a sleeping pidgey.

Kiro roasts the pidgey. He gains some exp. You put the fried pidgey in your backpack.

You return to the pokecenter and have your pokemon healed up. Surprisingly you see Shelly and Mii sitting in the corner talking. You have a little time left before bed, not enough to be worth going back to grind more but enough to talk a bit to the two girls if you wanted.
You are tired though maybe you should just go to bed early.

You decide to join the two girls. They greet you and the three of you have some random conversations. "So why ARE you wearing that?" Mii asks Shelly suddenly. Refering to that revealing outfit you brought her.
"Huh? Oh.. right." Shelly glares at you for a moment.

"My normal clothes got ruined when I was attacked by a bunch of spider pokemon. This was the only other thing I had to wear."
"Huh.. Well that sucks."

Luckily Shelly doesn't mention it was your fault. Mii probably wouldn't have approved. You gain relationship points towards both girls. Mii seems to be somewhat friendlier towards you than she was earlier.

You go to bed and sleep deeply. No weird dreams tonight.
You wake up and get ready to roll. After breakfast of course.
"So what's the plan today?" Shelly asks you.
No sign of Mii, she's either still sleeping or has already left.

>train toothless.

You decide to try figuring out How to train your Zubat.
You spend an hour training Toothless. You level him up. He learns confuse ray.
Your bond with him begins to form. (1/6)
You can also teach him one of the following moves in place of his current 4 moves.
