You ask her to choose between those two options and she chooses lightgreenvest.
You buy it for her and she puts it on. She thanks you and gives you a quick kiss.
Your relationship grows closer. You feel like you could take your relationship with her to the next level if you asked. (The next level being officially becoming Boyfriend and Girlfriend.)

You've spent a long time in the various clothing stores. All three of you return to the pokemon center to get ready for bed.
On your way there you realize this might be the perfect moment to secretly meet with Aida to give her the Abra. You could tell the girls you forgot to do something and that you'll be right back.

You tell the girls you forgot to do something and will be right back. Mii frowns but then shrugs and they head into the pokécenter.

You start walking until you reach a place out of view of the pokecenter. You then call Aida.
A few minutes later you see her Skarmory up in the sky.
It lands a few meters away from you and Aida dismounts. She walks over to you with a smile on her face.

"Well hello there. I hear you caught the abra I asked for?"

You nod.

She pulls out something that looks like a white pokedex and pushes a few buttons. "Okay, the abra has been confirmed to be in your box. Which means.. this is for you." She pulls a small box out of a pocket in her lab coat and hands the box to Yu.

"This little device is an 'EXP. share'. It allows you to distribute the experience gained from battle to pokemon that didn't even participate. It has a few different settings.

You can set it to evenly distrubute all exp evenly across your party. Which of course means each pokemon only gets 1/6th. of the Exp. (unless you have less than 6 pkmn in your party.)

Or you can set it to give half of the exp to one specific pokemon. The other half would go to the pokemon that did participate in the battle.

Or you can just turn it off."

She lets out a light chuckle. "I hope you'll continue to help my research in the future." She says before kissing you on the cheek and walking away.
She gets on her Skarmory and waves at Yu.
And then she's off into the sky again.

You feel like your bond with Aida has become stronger, maybe?


You return to the pokemon center and get ready for bed. You also have the nurse heal up Bruce.

You wake up the next morning alone in your bed. The sun is already shining.
You look around and see the signs of your bed being warmed by Shelly. She must have already gotten up. You decide you should probably not keep the girls waiting and get ready for breakfast.

Sure enough both girls are already eating breakfast. They're almost done even.

"Oh there he is." Shelly waves you over.
"Jeez, you're late." Mii complains.

You sit down and eat something too.

While you're eating Mii talks about how she asked around about the gym leader. Apparently the Gym leader should be by the cape sometime today. Mii says she wants to go there.

You agree to head there directly.
You head to the river and have Lucy fly you over to the other side one by one again. You then start following the path towards the cape. Hoping to find the gym leader there.

You've barely gotten started walking when you hear someone call out to you. You look to see who it is but you don't really recognize him.
When he catches up to you he explains he was one of the contestants in the tournament yesterday. He lost to Junko but stayed around to watch your fight and the Chaos afterwards.
He says that if it wasn't for you and Mii Team rocket would have probably stolen his pokemon. He thanks you for that.

He then says he's done a lot of thinking and decided he's not cut out to be a trainer. But his Charmander is special and deserves to be with a strong trainer. He explains that this Charmander is extremely fast. (He always attacks first) It's name is Riaden.
The trainer wants one of you to have him.

You accept Riaden and give him a spot on your back up team. The trainer thanks you again and then walks away.

"Well that was random." Mii comments.

You resume walking towards the cape. You eventually reach a winding path through some trees and in the distance you see the lighthouse.
Suddenly you are ambushed by two young girls. They challenge you to a pokemon battle.

You Send out Toothless and Bruce.

Bruce runs over to the slowpoke and karate chops it on the head. Slowpokes head wobbles for a second. It doesn't really seem to have felt it.

Toothless slices the air and a shock wave slams into the gloom. It puts up it's arms to defend itself to minimize the damage but it doesn't help much.

The Slowpoke unleashes a wave of confusion upon Bruce. It's super effective! However Bruce is strong enough to keep standing.

The gloom shoots out strings that attach themselves to Bruce. It then drains his health. (Mega Drain.) Bruce falls to his knee, it's a critical hit! The Gloom heals some of its wounds.

Toothless Slices the air with his wing again. The impact hits both Gloom and Slowpoke. (Oops It has been so long I forgot Air cutter hit both enemies. Sorry. I'll fix that by adding last rounds damage to slowpoke.) It's super effective! Both of them are heavily hurt.

Bruce Grits his teeth the critical hit he suffered just now made him angry. Very angry. His attack stat gets maxed. (Ability: anger point activated.)  He karate chops the slowpoke on the head again. It's not very effective. The slowpoke does not respond.

The trainers tell Slowpoke to use confusion again. It doesn't respond.

The Gloom is ordered to use mega drain again. The strings it had attached to Bruce are still there and drain the life force out of him. He falls to one knee again. It hurts him a lot. But he endures another critical hit.

The gloom is healed a bit.

The Slowpoke cries out and faints. It just now felt the full power of Bruce his earlier rage induced attack. And it was a really hard hit.

Bruce looks at the gloom, his eyes glow red with anger. He rips out the strings.

>uh fury swipes and air cutter

Bruce is suddenly in front of the Gloom. He swipes at it once but is so strong that the gloom goes flying up.

Toothless sees this opening and slices the air again. The shockwave hits the gloom in mid air, it's super effective!

The gloom hits the ground and does not get back up.

You win. For your victory you receive 6000 pkd.

You go to the cape and search for the gym leader. Half an hour later you've still seen no trace of her. Mii is getting frustrated.
"Where the hell is she?! If I have to stay in this city for one more day I swear I'll end up punching someone."

Shelly tries to calm down Mii. It seems to work somewhat. "We're probably too early. Let's come back in an hour or so." She says.
"Fine whatever." Mii replies.

Just as you are about to leave the cape you hear a strange sound behind you. You turn around and see what seems to be a large pink ball bouncing around the beach on it's own.
After watching it for a second you realize it's not a ball. Its a bubble and inside the bubble is a pokemon.

It doesn't seem to pay any attention to you.

"Is that a..?!?! Holy fuck!" As soon as Mii realizes what pokemon it is she grabs one of her pokeballs and sends out Az.
"I have to catch it!" Mii yells.

The pokemon hears Mii yelling and stops bouncing. It floats in the air upside down. "Mew?" It says.

You tell Mii that attacking mew might not be the best idea.

"It's a fucking Mew!! I'll never get another chance like this. There's no way I'm just gonna let this opportunity slip throug my hands!" She answers.

Az starts rolling towards the mew and ignites her flames. As a wheel of flames she flies through the air towards the Mew.

Only to suddenly stop in mid air right in front of the mew. Az just keeps floating in front of the bubble as the mew cocks its head to the side.

They just stay there like that for a minute.

"Damnit." Mii clenches her fist and is about to send out Crystal and Rol as back up.

You say:

"Maybe but ... Shuddup."

She sends out Crystal and Rol. Crystal throws a crystal at Mew but it just bounces off the bubble.
Mii then sends Rol after the mew. The mew tries to make Rol float as well but he's a dark type so it doesn't work.

Rol attacks the bubble and sends it flying. It bounces around in the sand.
The mew seemed to enjoy that.

In it's distraction it lets go of Az who plops onto the ground. She seems slightly disoriented.


While you watch this happen you look around for signs of why the mew could be here.

You notice the shallow hole it made when it bounced in the sand. And you notice many more of the same kind of hole around here.
Seeing as how it was bouncing around when you first saw it you figure it was probably just playing around while nobody was watching.

"What the fuck. I could use some Help here Yu!" Mii says.


Team Yu: Kiro (100% HP), Lucifer (100% HP), NidoWIN (100% HP), Bruce (10% HP), Psyche (100%HP), Toothless (100% HP)

 then i fog horn because i dont remember what that does.



"Fuck it then. Time to get creative I guess." Mii then starts her all out assault on the mew.

Rol rushes forward and hits the bubble again. He then quickly gets behind the bubble and hits it again from the other side. He keeps doing this a few times the bubble bounces around and mew seems to really enjoy what to it must feel like a roller coaster or something.

But then Rol hits the bubble up into the air and jumps after it. He raises his paw ready to slam it back to the ground. But then he disappears.

It's around this time that Yu blows the foghorn. The loud noise distracts the mew.
It doesn't notice that Crystal has thrown a crystal shard and that Az is on top of that shard.

Az lets her flames rise and jumps off the high speed crystal shard.

Mew only notices the wheel of fire coming at it when it's too late. Az crashes against the mew and the bubble pops. the mew goes flying and falls into the water.

"Holy shit I did it!" Mii exclaims.

That's when the Mew comes flying out of the water. It twirls around and shakes itself dry.
It doesn't seem to have been bothered by any of that at all.

Mii sighs in frustration. She prepares herself for another try now that the bubble is gone.
But then the mew seems to notice something in the far distance. It waves with it's tail at the three of you and then its suddenly just.. gone.

"WHAT?!!" Mii falls to her knees. She punches the sand. She let's out a very loud:"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCKK".

And then all is quiet.


(The foghorn can distract opponents once per battle, which it did in this battle. It also has story purposes some that have been tied to the lore in past posts. Others that still need to be revealed when you get to that point.)

(Also if you wanted to you could have beaten the mew. If you used six pokemon at once (the max) and were smart about it.. And very Lucky. Catching it though.. You would have needed at least a couple of ultra balls or loads of pokeballs.)

"Maybe we should just head for the lighthouse now.."
Shelly tries to get everyone going forward again.

You head to the lighthouse. Mii follows along, sulking the whole way there.

Shelly knocks on the door. Nobody answers. She pushes open the door. "Hello?" She asks cautiously.

"Ah, Hello!" You hear a voice reply.

You all step inside but don't see anyone. The place seems to be a mess, boxes and papers lying all over the ground. And in the middle of it all, a weird pokemon. It kinda looks like a clefairy but there's something off about it. "Welcome! I'm Bill!" It says.

Shelly screams. "It talks! AAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaHHHH!"
She hides behind Yu.

Team Yu: Kiro (100% HP), Lucifer (100% HP), NidoWIN (100% HP), Bruce (10% HP), Psyche (100%HP), Toothless (100% HP)

"Hey, you don't need to be afraid. Because you see I'm.."

"A rare pokemon and If I can't catch a mew I'm at least going to catch whatever this thing is!" Mii interupts.

"What?.. Wait No NO NOO!" The pokemon(?) panics and frantically runs around.

"Just kidding. I don't want to catch whatever that ugly thing is. Probably just a deformed Clefairy."

The pokemon stops running. "Phew.. Hey! that's not nice!"

Mii shrugs. "You'd rather have me catch you then?" She asks.

"No NO NO." The pokemon(?) sighs. "Look I'm not actually a pokemon."

"You lied to us?!" Mii acts shocked.

"I.. Yeah, Sorry.. Wait no. I never said I was a pokemon! You just assumed that!"

The pokemon Bill shakes his head. "Look, I just am this way because an experiment of mine went very wrong. I'm actually a guy named Bill. And I would really appreciate you helping me get back to my human self."

"Oh.. Okay." Shelly says.

"What's in it for us?" Mii says.

"Well I have a few S.S. Anne tickets on my desk there. If you help me out they're yours. I don't like formal parties anyway." The pokemon Bill says.

"Hmm, so what do you want us to do?"

"Well, it's easy really. All you need to do is press the yellow button on that console there as soon as I'm inside that pod." He first points to a console next to his desk. Then he points to a large and strange looking machine with two large pods.

"Also whatever you do, do not press the Green button."



(Also Happy new year dude.)

"Why me?" She asks.

"Because this dumbass would probably press all the buttons except the right one." Mii says as she points at Yu.

"Also I'm color blind so I shouldn't do it. Which means you're the only one that's left." She adds.

"Oh. Okay.." Shelly nods and nervously walks over to the control panel.

"Thanks!" The pokemon Bill says before entering the machine.

The door of the pod closes once he's inside.

"He said the yellow one, right?" Shelly asks.

Mii nods.

Shelly presses the yellow button. The machine starts up and makes some odd noises. A light flashes. Steam comes out of the pods and fills the room.

The pod opens and it's empty.

"Oh no!"

But before Shelly can finish panicking the other pod opens and Bill walks out. Back in his human form. "Thanks guys! You really helped me there. I could have been stuck like that for weeks if nobody visited."

He heads over to his desk, picks up three tickets and gives them to Shelly. "Enjoy the party." He smiles.

You now have three S.S. Anne tickets!

"Oh one more thing. The S.S. Anne will only be in the Vermillion harbor for 5 more days. So make sure you don't miss it!"

"Okay."

With tickets in hand you return to the cape. unlike before there now seem to be a few people around. You decide to ask around about the gym leader. After a while of not getting any results you finally find someone who says they saw her.

Following their tip you find her sitting next to a guy on the bridge. They seem to be talking.

You suggest you spend some time on the beach while waiting for the gym leader to return.
Shelly agrees immediately. Mii doesn't want to at first but you and Shelly convince her after a while.

First you decide to change into your swimwear. The girls go off to get changed and you do the same but elsewhere. You think about sneaking a peek but Mii would probably kill you so you decide not to.

After a short bit you all meet up again.


(Drawing this myself would take too long so I used the dress up game again. I'll still draw the rewards for maxing out a relationship whenever that happens though.)

You decide to go swim, the girls follow you. You all let out your pokemon to enjoy the beach along with you. Everyone has fun. You splash Shelly with some water. She splashes back. You splash Mii, she tries to drown you.
A good time is had by all.

It's Mii who notices the gym leader leaving.

You walk over to the gym leader and call out to her calmly. She doesn't notice so you try again when you get a bit closer. She still doesn't respond.

Shelly tries calling out to her.  But her voice is even more quiet than yours.

Mii gets frustrated and tries as well. She's loud enough to catch the gym leaders attention. She turns around. "What?"


(Everybody knows what Misty looks like so I probably didn't need to make this. But I figured it'd be better to have her design be something in between the original and the Gold&Silver games version of her. Also that dress up game is too much fun so ..yeah.)

You catch up to her. "Hey, we wanted to challenge you but you were nowhere to be found. What the fuck is up with that?" Mii says.

"Excuse me?" She says, irritated.

"Oh, sorry. What she means to ask is, we were wondering when the gym would be open again?" Shelly tries to save the conversation.

"Hmm. No idea. I'm on a vacation until I feel like coming back. Now if you'll excuse me I'm on a date and I'd appreciate being left alone."

"Oh, I see. My apologies."

"Apologies my ass! We've been here for over two days. I'm not waiting here until you decide to get off your lazy ass. Whenever that'll be."

"Mii, please-"

"First you interrupt my date. Now you're insulting me? What is your damn problem?"

"My problem is you not doing your job! You should have posted a message outside your gym saying how long you'd be gone. You know like a responsible gym leader! Not like a brat that just randomly takes a vacation for however long they feel like!"

"How dare you. If you keep this up I'll ban you from ever setting foot in my gym! Then you can wait fucking forever."

"How about I fucking report you to the pokemon league. The you'd lose your fucking job and you can take vacations all the fucking time!"

"You little-" The gym leader stops when she notices something is different. She looks around, the guy that was with her just a minute ago has disappeared. He ran off.

"What. The. Fuck. You scared my date away you fuck!"

"Maybe he ran away because he realized how much of a bad gym leader you were!"

The gym leader is getting really angry, her face turns red. "That date was going so well. It would have been a great day and you fucking ruined it!"

Shelly intervenes. "I'm so sorry. This wasn't our intention. She can be a bit rude and has a short fuse but she really didn't mean to ruin your date. It's just that we have to be somewhere in five days and we wanted to know when the gym was back open."

"Too bad. Now I'm pissed off. And I'll need a day to calm down. I took this vacation to finally have some time to date. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find love if you're supposed to be available for trainers to challenge every single fucking day?! Now I have to go back on Fletch-Inder to swipe for dates. And who knows how long it'll be before I match with someone good again! I'm not ending this vacation until I have had one good date. So you really screwed yourselves over."

Mii grumbles but Shelly holds her back.


"Fine, you won't open your gym until you have a date? We did ruin your date just now So I guess that means we just owe you a good date, right? Then pick one of us and we'll take you on that good date you want."

"Wait what?!" Shelly is shocked and confused.

"What? Are you fucking serious right now?" She raises an eyebrow.

"Yes, you want a date? Date one of us."

"Pfft." She starts laughing. "Okay, I was not expecting that one. While I appreciate the offer.. and it would solve my problem technically.. I don't swing both ways."

Mii shrugs and pushes you in front of her. "Then here's your date."

Shelly's eyes widen. "What?! No way!"

Mii pulls her aside and whispers. " It's just one date. Then we can leave this town and make it in time to catch the S.S. Anne. Besides it's not like he's your boyfriend yet, right? So there shouldn't be a problem."

"But, but.. I.. well I guess.." Shelly looks uncomfortable with the idea.

The gym leader frowns and looks you over for a while. "I guess he'll do. Okay, I accept. My name is Misty, what's yours?"

You tell her your name is Yu and agree to the date.

*Mii and Misty approve. Points gained for both.*
*Shelly disapproves. Points lost.* Shelly will no longer agree if you ask her to be your gf. At least not until you regain some points later. But the relationship level has not decreased, you are still dating her.

"Good, pick me up at the gym at around 6pm (18:00). Seeya then." Misty turns around and walks away. But before she's gone she yells one last thing to you. "Remember, if the date goes well I'll be at the gym tomorrow for challenges. But if you fuck up the date I'll be on vacation for a long time. So you better put in some effort."

And with that final warning, she's gone.

Mii puts a hand on your shoulder. "I guess this means it's time for us to prepare the best date ever."

Shelly frowns. "Yu's the one going on the date though, not us."

"I don't have any faith in his dating abilities though. And I'm not letting him fuck this up. We girls are gonna plan everything and he just has to do one thing, stick to the fucking plan."

An awkward silence follows.

"Let's fucking hope he can at least do that." Mii sighs, she doesn't seem to have much faith in your ability to stick to a plan either.

A while later you're back in Cerulean city in the shopping district.

"It's a pretty formal date right? So first up, a gift. Gifts always help on dates. But what should you give her?"

"He always buys me clothes so maybe?"

"No, that's terrible to do on a first date. 'Here I've brought you something I want you to wear. Even though I don't know anything about you or your style.' Clothes are a no go."

"True, we don't even know her measurements either."

"It'd be extremely creepy if someone gave you clothes that happened to have the exact right measurements on a first date anyway."

Shelly nods. "I'm fine with getting clothes from Yu but that's because we've known each other for ages. But what DO we give her then? Flowers seem nice."

"Almost never can go wrong with flowers. Emphasis on almost.."

"Chocolates maybe?"

"Yes, those are good too. Probably easier too."

You decide on chocolates.
Mii decides to pay for them since it was kinda her fault that this is happening.

(In the future you'll have to buy these gifts yourself before you go on a date with anyone. Different people might like different things.)

The girls then push you into a hairdresser place. While you're getting your hair cut the girls go out and buy you some new clothes. You apparently get no say in what they buy or what haircut you get.

"Next up is deciding what sort of date we're going with. More specifically where you are going."

"So.. We've seen most of the city already. Where would be a good place? The obvious one is a restaurant."

"Very expensive though. And I'm almost broke here so..You'd have to pay yourself. But a good choice."

"Normally the movie theater would be a good date spot but I haven't seen one around."

"Yeah. I haven't seen one either. Maybe just go to the cape. Apparently it's a popular dating spot around here."

"Well yea, but that's where she was when we interrupted her. Maybe she doesn't want to do the same thing twice?"

"That's a point.. But if we pull it off then she could see it as you giving her a better version of the date we fucked up?"

"That might work. Ooh I know. We make a picnic basket so they can eat it at the cape!"

"Good idea. That would change things up enough, probably."

You decide on going to a restaurant.
Mii and Shelly accompany you while you scout out different restaurants that could be good options. Eventually you find one that seems really good. Mii and Shelly decide that that's the one you should go to.

You make reservations for two.

"I think we're done now."

"Yeah.."

"It's all up to you now." Mii puts a hand on your shoulder. "Please don't fuck this up."

"Maybe we should give him some tips."

"We probably should but maybe a practice date would be more helpful?"

"Ooh yes! I've been wanting another date. Even if it's just a practice date.."

"I think you're a bit biased though. I mean you're already in love with the guy. Which honestly kinda baffles me, but thats besides the point. You'd just be more willing to overlook his flaws. Which isn't good because he needs to learn how to impress her."

".. True." Shelly pouts.

"Ah cheer up, I'm sure you'll get another chance to go on a date soon. Maybe even on the SS.Anne if this goes well!"

"That would be nice..But then if not me, who will he practice with."

"...Fuck.."

One hour later you're sitting at a table in a much cheaper restaurant for your practice date.
"Alright, I guess we're actually doing this. This is just a practice date so don't worry if you make mistakes. Just try your best." Mii says to you as she sits down at your table. She closes her eyes and shakes her head. "This is ridiculous."

"Oh it's not that bad!" Shelly says from the table next to you two. She is there so she can coach you during this practice date.
Weirdly enough she seems to be enjoying this situation somewhat.

Tutorial date start!



Shelly:"Okay, so the goal is to completely satisfy your date. Dates are similar to pokemon battles. Except they're not. Instead of trying to damage your opponent and turn their health from green to red, you try to make your date enjoy themselves and turn their enjoyment from ice blue to bright pink.

As you can see Mii is currently at a normal blue. Most dates will start there. If you fuck up too much the blue will become lighter. When it turns white your date will just up and leave. When you do good it will become purple and eventually pink. The brighter the pink, the better the date.

Sometimes the dates will start at a lighter shade of blue, which means something is causing the date to be in a bad mood from the start. Choosing a location they do not like for example can do this. Or they might just not be feeling well. Usually this can be solved but well talk about how to do that later.

Keeping a conversation going naturally is the most important part of a date. Awkward silences or one side rambling while the other can't get a word in are obviously bad.

"What? It's the same thing I always wear. the fuck- Oh wait right. Pretending. Okay, I'll play along. Normally that would be a good opening so points for you. Just remember that I know you're full of bullshit." Mii takes a deep breath and gets into her role.

"Oh, thank you! You look nice too." She answers.

She glances away and mumbles under her breath. "Only because you're wearing the clothes I bought."

Shelly:"A good start. But compliments on an outfit work better if they are specific. Compliment her shoes, dress or jacket. That way you show that you're paying attention to her. It also sometimes can get the conversation going. Which as I've said before is really important.

The bad thing about compliments is that if you use too many of them in a row it can get annoying, for both of you. A better way to keep the conversation going at this point would be asking a question. Or you could tell her something about yourself.

The most important thing is to balance talking and asking questions. Unlike compliments you can repeat both of those a couple of times. But be careful that the conversation doesn't end up being too one sided.

Then there is the option for a gift. It's best to give a gift at the start of a date or at the end.
Giving a gift in the middle of a date seems too random and somewhat confusing. Or she'll think you're an idiot who forgot he had a present.
 Although giving it at the end only works if the date was going well. Getting a gift at a bad date kinda sours the gift itself. So it won't be as effective.

It's still the beginning of the date now so you can still give it now if you want. Obviously the chocolates are for Misty. So you'll get them back after this practice date."
