Lucy aerial aces the fuck out of the machoke. It's super effective. The Machoke falls and doesn't get back up.

The trainer calls it back to its ball and sends out a Cloyster.

(Remember switching out counts as your turn. So Since a bunch of your pokemon are at somewhat low health they might not survive long enough to attack. So be careful who you pick. Or you can sacrifice Lucy and let her take the hit.)

You call back Lucy and send out Bruce.

Cloyster fires an aurora beam at Bruce. It hits and hurts. Bruce shakes it off.

Bruce then rushes at the cloyster and punches it.
(The extra move he has, a weak punch. In case you forgot he had that.)
He then follows up with a Karate chop. It's shell vibrates from the impact. It's super effective!
The cloyster is pushed back.

Cloyster charges up another aurora beam and fires it. Bruce realizes he can't dodge it so he puts his arms in front of him to brace himself for the impact. He stays on his feet.

(Bruce probably can't take another hit but he's faster so he'll probably get another hit in before that.)

Bruce rushes at the Cloyster and is about to leap up in the air when his foot slides over what appears to be ice on the ground. Probably caused by one of the previous aurora beams.
Bruce slams his nose directly into the floor.

Cloyster takes advantage of Bruce being dazed and charges up another aurora beam. Bruce looks up and his eyes widen when he realizes the position he's in.
The Cloyster makes eye contact with Bruce and a cruel grin forms on its face.
Bruce tries to push himself on his feet but it's too late, the aurora beam hits him.

When it's over Bruce is lying knocked out on the floor. You call him back to his ball. But the fight isn't over, who will take revenge for Bruce?

Lucifer can learn Drill peck, replace a move?
(Please tell me when you don't want to learn a move. Because I have no way of telling if you ignored it because you didn't want to learn it or just forgot. I've been underlining and bolding these to avoid this but it doesn't seem to work lol.
To be fair I'd probably forget about these too. I'm pretty sure I've forgotten to even mention a move could be learned a couple of times in the past.)


You decide the day has been long enough and heal up up your pokemon before going back to your room to sleep.

One second you're yawning and closing your eyes. The next you're surrounded by a thick fog.
You feel weightless, as if you're under water.
The same figure you've seen a bunch of times in your dreams appears again before you. You still can't make out who or what they are.
They speak to you:

"I don't have much time but I need to warn you.  Something terrible is about to happen.  You need to-"


Suddenly you're pulled out of the dream water. You open your eyes. You see Shelly sitting over you gently shaking you to wake you up. It seems to have worked. You gasp for air sit up with a jolt and accidentally bump your head against hers.
"Oww!"

She rubs her head. You rub yours as well, that hurt.

You both apologize to each other. You for the headbutt, she for waking you up.

"You okay?" She asks. "You seem to be sweating a lot. Were you having a nightmare or something?"

"Normally I don't wake you up but we haven't had much alone time for us two recently. So I had been planning on playing around some as soon as we could get some privacy. But with how my brother acted earlier I figure we probably shouldn't. But I do want to at least do this."
She leans in and gives you a soft kiss.

"Mind if I lay next to you for some cuddles?" She asks with a sweet smile.
You obviously say you don't mind.
You scoot over a bit and she joins you under the covers. You put your arms around her. Shelly's warmth makes you doze of again quickly.

The next morning you wake up just to see Shelly sneaking back out of your room. Probably hoping Mii didn't notice she was missing.
With your bedwarmer gone you can't get back to sleep so you decide to get up as well.

After a shower that probably took just a bit too long you are ready for another day. Today's that tournament which makes you excited. But then you look out the window and notice a fog setting in over the water outside. You're immediately reminded of the dream you had.
"Something terrible is about to happen." A shiver runs down your spine.


You head out of your room. Shelly and Mii are also just leaving their room. The three of you head to the dining hall for breakfast. As you walk past you notice some of the staff setting up a booth for signing up to the tournament. You see a sign, it reads:

(And so we come to the point where I prove myself right. I already forgot something, I don't remember my own color code for important options that take a "turn" and ones that are free actions. I know it was green and pink but which was which? lol.

Let's go with my gut feeling that says green was important and pink was free actions. If that's wrong then bleh, not like this "rp" has been consistent so far, why start now?)

You  bring up your dream in your conversation with the girls.

"Oh, so you were having a nightmare last night. Thought so." Shelly says.

"Huh?" Mii is confused at Shelly's statement.

"Uh.. It's nothing." Shelly lies nervously. Hoping Mii didn't catch on to the fact that she snuck into your room last night.

"He uh.. has nightmares pretty often. Yeah..  so I when I saw him come out of his room I recognized his pale look. Well slightly more pale than normal. So I figured he had another one."

"I see." Mii seems to accept this excuse. "Well in that case there's nothing to worry about. It's just another nightmare. Nothing terrible's gonna happen."

"True." She smiles awkwardly.


After that awkward conversation you go sign up for the tournament.
You and Mii both sign up. You wonder if you'll end up having to fight her.

"Arceus damn it." Mii exclaims.

"What's wrong?" Shelly asks her.

"I just looked at the list of contestants and guess what.. Junko is on it. Figured she'd be here. Seems like Yu's dream was right after all."

"I doubt his dream was about your ex.."

You take a look at the list and Mii is right. Junko's name is on there. You spot another familiar name. Raiphel seems to have signed up as well. This tournament's gonna be interesting.

You've gotten enough points to level up your relationship with Shelly. You just need to find the right time to ask and she'll be your official gf!
You also got a bunch of points for Mii but just not enough to level her up as well. You're still just friends.

Trying out all these outfits has taken quite some time. It's almost time for the tournament to start so you head on over. It seems to have just started when you arrive.

The judge, an older man with an impressive curly moustache is explaining the rules over a megaphone. Apparently each battle will be single combat to the death, with each trainer using 3 pokemon. Using a fourth pokemon will count as cheating and you will be disqualified.

You can use different 3 pokemon in the next round against another opponent but that's up to you. As long as you only use 3 pokemon per battle.

Switching out is allowed in mid combat as long as it's one of your three pokemon being switched in and not a fourth.

The first match is Junko vs some random trainer. The match is short and brutal. Junko absolutely destroyed her opponent, not having any of her own three pokemon faint.
She notices you in the crowd and gives you a wink. Or maybe that was aimed towards Mii.
Mii seems pissed off either way.

You're up next. You too have to fight some trainer you have not heard of before. Apparently his name is Tom and he's a bug catcher, although you haven't seen many bug catchers wear a tuxedo.

Shelly whispers in your ear to remind you that she still has Riaden the charmander. You can use him too.

He sends out a Golisopod. Which he probably imported from overseas.

She flies up and then starts spinning before descending towards her target.
It hits and it's super effective!.
The Golisopod is thrown back by the force of the impact.

It does not go down however. It then hurls several boulders at Lucy trying to imprison her in a rock tomb.
But Lucy is too fast and barrel rolls out of the way. It misses her completely.

The crowd panics as it's almost hit by the boulders that nobody has any idea where they even came from. They're on a luxury cruise ship for fucks sake.

Pyroar Shouts loudly in an echoing voice. Somehow it seems to have missed. You are not sure how a sound based move can miss but aren't complaining.


Crystal Works herself up into a rage and attacks but also misses.

Pyroar's trainer gets impatient and orders it to use hyper beam.
Pyroar does as commanded and launches a massive beam of energy at Crystal.

Crystal is blasted back by the beam and cries out in pain. The ship moves again. Several glasses fall off tables. One of the bystanders also almost falls but someone else catches them.

Crystal however did not go down. She works herself up into a rage again and this time it hits but it barely seems to make a scratch.

The pyroar spins around and aims a hyperbeam straight at Az. It hits!

Az can barely stand. The damage is severe but this just ignites her flame harder. It's massive now. In a flash she's upon the pyroar and tackles it with her full might.
The pyroar goes flying.

It lands hard on its side. it gets back on its paws but is still too exhausted from launching that hyperbeam. It can't do anything.

Then suddenly Az is upon it again with another quick attack. This time the Pyroar doesn't get back up.

Az roars in victory. It's pretty cool but also adorable.

What is also adorable is the next pokemon sent out by Mii's opponent. It's a pure white vulpix. The announcer says its an Alolan vulpix. When it jumps little snowflakes shoot out of it's tails.
