So last night I had an idea. Thinking of new outfits for the girls hasn't always been easy, especially with the limits of the dress up game. But as I mentioned before I've been playing through Pokemon yellow again recently. I pretty much finished the main game. However when I started this file I had one specific goal in mind. When I still had an actual gameboy I managed to fill out the pokedex on my yellow game, at least I had 150 out of 151 pokemon. All I was missing was Dragonite.

So my goal here was to finally after all these years get my hands on a dragonite in yellow. Right now I'm only five levels away with my dragonair. I pretty much caught a dratini the moment i got access to the safari zone. And here comes my point. I didn't really know what to name it so I just named it Shelly.

So my idea was to put Shelly in a Dratini/Dragonair/Dragonite costume. Or at least clothes inspired by those pokemon. Obviously Mii can't get out of this either so I figured I'd give her a Cyndaquil/Quilava/Typhlosion outfit. It worked pretty well in the dress up game.
So now I'm adding some achievements you can try to get to unlock these costumes for the girls.
And also the art for them obviously. I'm thinking you'll have to get the pokemon to unlock shelly's costumes (one costume per evolution you get.)
Still thinking on what to set as achievements for Mii. (since she already has Az so that'd be too easy. You'd already have two unlocked.)

Also if you have any pokemon you'd want to see the girls in a costume of, let me know (before you catch the pokemon.) And I'll make that another possible unlockable outfit if I can. (If you've already got the pokemon I'll think of another achievement you'd need.)

(I'm thinking of doing this for the other girls (like Misty, Aida and Junko) too.)
(I think especially the final evolutions are worth it. Shelly in a dragonite inspired costume looks pretty funny.(Also pretty. Although the dragonair one is probably prettier but less funny. And Mii's typhlosion outfit looks pretty cool in my opinion. Also I'm thinking of Shelly's dratini costume to be drawn as an actual dratini suit rather than an outfit because that'd be adorable.)

idk which pokemon are going to be available and when so, that's a difficult thing but if any come up I'll let'cha know. prob ghost types, need a big tiddy goth gf.

Ghost types will come up in Lavender obviously. Which is still a ways away. Mostly gonna be Gastly and it's evolutions. Which is good because I always imagined Doomy being a gastly. Which means it'll be another ChaoZ member in your party. (at least the RP ChaoZ NPC member, the real one is obviously long gone.)

But I wasn't really planning on any non gen 1 ghost pokemon to appear there. So if there's a specific ghost pokemon (outfit) you want I can put one in there for you to catch. If you're not sure you can always google for a list of Ghost pokemon. (Can be any generation since there's only one Gen 1 ghost evolution line.)

There will be one other Ghost-ish pokemon there according to my plans but I'm not sure that'll count. Although now that I'm thinking about it, a costume based on it would be pretty goth.. Not gonna spoil anything though.

As for Dratini they only appear in the safari zone. Which is even farther away so that's sad. But we'll get there eventually.

Also update on the dragonite situation: Shelly has officially evolved and my decade long quest has ended. Finally got that goddamned Dragonite.

As for pokemon that'll show up sooner.. After the gym Diglet tunnel will be something you might go through. Although Diglet is probably not the best pokemon to base an outfit on.
After that.. Sandshrew could be cute? Rattata and Raticate are also coming up. Machop, Magnemite and Voltorb.

Not the best options it seems. Rock tunnel doesn't seem to have any new pokemon you don't already have. Which doesn't seem very interesting so maybe I should mix that up a bit and add some others.

Ooh but after you pass Lavender town for the first time you can get Meowth, Growlithe, Vulpix and Pidgey. Those could be cute (pidgey itself isn't all that much but it's evolutions could be cool, although that requires some extra training efforts.)

Pidgeotto are available to catch without evolving them just outside of Vermillion though.
But Only one that also appears here that I haven't mentioned is Drowzee which might be funny but eh, yeah..

Meowth is also available on the route where you came into Vermillion from. So that's a quick option. Jigglypuff can also be found there. But I feel that would just be a pink dress with jigglypuff ears on her head. At most dye her hair pink too.

That's all the options in the near-ish future. I'm sure it'll be months before we get to the vulpix and such though.

I was just thinkin of one of my fav pokes, mismagius.

I'm so far removed from first gen I forget which pokes they are. lmao. but pokes with wings can translate to p kick ass designs so maybe the pidgey line is a golden egg.

I'll make sure to add a Misdreavus in the Lavender tower then. Or maybe sooner If I can fit her in somewhere. Then all you'll need is a dusk stone which I can probably let you buy at some point.

I'll try to remind you about the pidgey line after you get off the boat. If you want the full set It'll be easier to catch a pidgey and pidgeotto separately. Then evolve the pidgeotto by leveling it. (Which should take less long considering the wild pokemon do scale with you. Keep in mind you do need enough bond as well for them to evolve. So Your best bet is to keep them with Shelly and have a couple of training sessions with them. Unless you want to put them in your party.)

(On an other note Having a Pidgeot will help you in the long run as well. If you have three pokemon that are big enough to fly with someone on their back( or if you get one that's big enough to carry multiple people.) You basically unlock Fly without needing the HM.)(You already have Lucy so you just need to be able to carry two more people. Pidgeot would be able to carry one.)

Are you sure That's what you want to do? It barely did a scratch when it hit. And the power up effect hasn't activated yet because the first attempt missed. And the hyper beam came before the second rage. (even if it had activated it wouldn't have done that much more with just one power up.)

Another hyperbeam and Crystal is toast.

Unless you're going by gen 1 rules where rage is automatically continued. Which isn't the case in later gens. So I'm going by the later rules. So you do have better options here.(By which I mean any other move at this point.)

3 Pokés per battle yes. But this is Mii's second battle. So you're free to choose three others. No need to stick with Az and Crystal as your other two in this battle as well.

Unless you want to drastically increase the difficulty of this tournament.. Which I guess you don't want. But I'm not opposed to the idea. XD
