ChaoZ: A Royal pain in the elves.

The bounty hunter woke up and rolled off the couch on to the floor. "Right, not where I normally sleep." Rol shook Fluffy a bit.

"Yo, champ. let's go. Maybe we can find something for you too eat on the journey." He looked at Jex who was standing at the door and sighed. "Just gimme a minute."

Fluffy shot awake and yawned widely. He then jumped up at the mention of food.
He bolted out the door, his stomache rumbling. Leaf came skipping down the stairs with a bagpack that was almost as big as her. She didn't seem to be slowed down by it.


"Alright, Adventure time! woooohooo!" She ran ahead of the others. Fluffy gave chase, making sure she didn't get too far ahead.

One random lunch later:


"We should reach my friends farm before the sun sets, I hope." Leaf said before trailing of and talking about anything that she thought about at that time. Fluffy spread his wings and flew up into the sky again. He soared through the sky playfully while on the look out for any enemies.

Which he found sooner than anyone wanted. Meadow spoilers, they were smaller than the spoilers they had encountered in the cave but they were a higher level. One of them seemed to be made out of gold. Luckily the awfull creatures hadn't noticed The adventure party yet.
Leaf shut up for the first time since they left when her eyes fell on the spoilers. A gulp was the only sound she made.

Jex followed behind the elf, allowing her to lead the way. When she suddenly stopped talking, he glanced around, scanning for trouble. He crouched down and touched the ground with his left hand, reaching for the two daggers with his right. He eyed the Spoilers closely.

"Try not to attract attention."

Jex whispered, he was unsure whether or not they had been seen yet but he assumed they weren't since there was no aggression from the Spoilers. However, he was curious. There was much more room to fight the Spoilers this time but there was also less of them that could fight. He wanted to know the true weakness of these Spoilers so that they may not be an encumbrance in the future. He unsheathed the daggers, one in his left hand the other on his right, crouched low.

The bounty hunter eyed the crouching Jex and the all of a sudden quiet Leaf before noticing the Spoilers.

"Wait, we're fighting? Greeaaatttt." He said, in a whisper, subconsciously keeping in mind Jex's 'try not to attract attention'.

Rol sighed. He didn't want to fight right now, but regardless he drew his guns. He was still standing, unlike the crouching mag,e not nearly as concerned of being noticed based on, well his stupidity. However Rol still stood there quietly waiting for Jex to either make the first move or to give instructions.

Leaf stood frozen as she watched the spoilers use their large tongues to lick the ground. Nobody knew why spoilers did this. Nobody cared either.
But then the spoilers found out they were being watched and all 8 of them charged at the party. Their tongues and large hands flailing about.

Fluffy dove down from the sky and attacked one of them. Another one attacked him.
Two attacked Jex, two attacked Rol and one went after Leaf, she ran around in circles trying to escape it.

The golden one waits anxiously.

As Jex was about to take his first step, the Spoilers suddenly boosted towards them. His left hand, still touching the ground with a dagger lightly grasped, was infused with magic. 

"Terrae Aquam."

He whispered as he wove his magic through the ground. The spell would cause the groundwater to come to the topsoil. Although he was not sure how long it would take before it would happen. He grasped clenched his left hand, tightening his grip. He stared forward as the Spoilers attacked, counting. 2 had come towards him and 1 chased Leaf. He knew he had to make sure the Elf was alright.


"Rol, Leaf!"

He shouted, alerting his clan mate that saving Leaf was first priority. The 4 will need to be distracted. He whipped his foot around and delivered a kick to the first Spoiler, hoping to knock it into the other one and both towards Rol. He would then drop on the ground on all fours, scanning the battle. His eyes met that of the golden one's figure for a brief moment before he quickstepped in between Leaf and her assailant, regardless of where the two 2 initial Spoilers were.


"Aeris Flante!"

He blew air out from his mouth, a large gust of wind emitting from the front of his lips. He had hoped to blow the Spoiler away.

"Oi." Responding to his clan mates alert Rol created a wall of shadow to hinder the two approaching Spoilers while he went to assist Leaf, but then he saw Jex move to protect the elf. 

"Ya best be careful friend." Rol chuckled, placing down Cole before expanding him to his proper size to act as a vanguard of sorts for leaf. The bounty hunter called to the manticore. "Fluffy, you like Spoiler meat, yes? and you also like Leaf, yes? Why don't you help Cole keep her safe and get some eats. That way the mage and I can clean this up."

Fluffy managed to get a good bite into one of the spoilers hands And used his teeth to swing it into the one that attacked him.

When Jex kicked the first spoiler it flew back and bumped into the other one. They then both bounced away in opposite directions. Eventually they managed to come to a halt by digging their oversized fingers into the dirt.

The two that headed towards Rol bounced against the wall but not very far. They shook off the hit and climbed over the wall with their large hands and arms. "Shashashatheprincessisinanothercastleshashasha."

Fluffy nodded to Rol and remained near Leaf to guard her. He snarled at the spoilers.
They replied with more spoilers. "shashashaDarthVaderisLuke'sfatherShaShaSha."

The spoiler that had been chasing Leaf was blown away by Jex's wind. It cried out as it bounced backwards. "ShashashaTeddieisashadowshashasha"

Meanwhile one of them had reached Rol and attempted to slap him. The two that had climbed over the walls directly behind it.
The two that had been fighting with fluffy attacked jex now but they were catapulted into the air by the water suddenly spouting out from the ground.
The golden spoiler remained at a distance.

Jex looked at Rol and sped away from Leaf, leading the Spoilers after him.

"Rol, knock them down!"

Jex yelled out. If the plan were to succeed, the ground water should splash, covering up the spoilers. He planned to freeze the spoilers in place as they hit the ground, using the 'Glacie' spell. He wasn't sure if it would work but it would at least buy them time to regroup.

The bounty hunter nodded. He shot himself up in the air using his shadows as a 'trigger' and did a front flip, moving his shadows around his legs once again in order to increase the force behind the kick he planned to deliver to the spoilers. The shadows also proceeded to increase in width as Rol planned to hold the spoilers down. 

"Knocked over!" (imagine a poorly done Gru from despicable me impression)

As Rol kicked the spoilers they plummeted towards the ground, the impact splashed up the water. Fluffy knocked the remaining spoilers into the watery area too.

The one blown away by jex's wind spell earlier came bouncing back. And tried getting his friends away from the shadows rol was using. All spoilers were now in the water, except the golden one. That one hadn't moved an inch and was still watching from a distance.
The wet spoilers cried out. "SHASHASHAWe'regoingtogetfrozen!SHASHASHA"


The golden one responded. "ShashashaLetitgoShashasha"
Wait thats not a spoiler..
The golden spoiler shrugged.

Leaf stood by and watched silently, covering her ears. Probably to avoid any of the spoilers that she might hear.

Jex wasted no time, he flipped both the daggers in his hand and stabbed the ground with it, weaving the magic into the ground.

"Glacie!"

He yelled, casting the ice spell. The natural magic would quickly decrease in temperature, freezing the water that surrounded the Spoilers, hopefully keeping them on the ground.

He glanced up and stared at the golden Spoiler. Slowly, he pulled the daggers out of the ground. He waited for it to make it's move. If it were to run, he would follow. If it were to fight, he would give one.

The spoilers were trapped in the ice. Fluffy casually walked over to them and began chewing on one of their oversize hands. The Spoiler could do nothing as it was slowly being eaten alive.

"Eeeeww"
Leaf shuddered at the sight, still covering her ears. Well part of her ears, they were too big for her tiny hands to cover up completely.

A large drop of sweat dripped down the golden spoilers head/face/body. It turned around and attempted to run. "Don't let it escape! Golden spoilers drop awesome stuff!" Leaf shouted, still covering her ears partly.

Jex twisted and off he went, after the Spoiler. He quickstepped forward, attempting to get in range of the thing. His staff left a trail of magic as he ran. Jex swung his hand, whipping the staff forward, the tail following. He planned to strike the golden Spoiler with it. If it were to make contact, he would harden the string at the point of contact and make it attach to the Spoiler.

"Capturam."

Rol stayed by Leaf rather than follow Jex and the golden spoilers. Random encounters can happen at anytime. 

"Does your friend have to travel from their home farm thing to the village?" The bounty hunter asked Leaf, curious as to who her friend was.

The spoiler was caught and flailed about trying to escape but couldn't. "ShashashaI'mgoingtodieshashasha"
Meanwhile Fluffy was happily nomming on his spoiler hand.

Leaf sighed with relief before turning to Rol as he asked her a question. "Huh? Well yes, but not the village we came from. There's another village closer to her. But most of the time people just go to her farm. She herself is too busy to leave for too long. Besides she gets most of the things she needs from the farm itself. She had more time in the past because she still had her father to help her. But he's gone..So now she does everything by herself." Leaf's voice sounded a bit sad when she said that last part.

"So I'm going over there to help her! Hehe." She smiled.

Jex pulled back, the magic retracting into the staff. He put a hand on the Spoiler but instantly pulled it away. His plan was to try and infiltrate its mind but he had his second guesses. He wasn't sure if that would flood his consciousness with spoilers, and he wouldn't risk it. Pulling his staff behind him, the Spoiler in tow, he walked back to his companions.

"Hey! Any ideas what to do with this thing?"

"Aaah! Keep that thing away! Kill it kill it kill it!" Leaf covered her ears and sat down on the ground, her face buried between her knees. She was shivering in fear.

Fluffy looked up, dropping the finger he was eating and tilted his head at the small wood elf. On his face was a confused look.

The spoiler cried out. "ShashashaYouwon'tbeabletostopitShashasha!"

He lifted his staff so that the Spoiler dangled from it's end.

"We could try and wait for it to say something important, like where the Prince is in the form of a spoiler but I don't know much he'd say before it."

Jex stared at the golden Spoiler. When it said something, he pointed two fingers at it and shaped his hand into a gun.

"Are we going the right way?"

The spoiler flailed its hands around frantically. "ShashashaGokuisasupersaiyanShashasha!"
Leaf stayed curled up, shivering in fear. "Please kill it! It might say something we shouldn't know!"
Fluffy walked over to Leaf and licked her hand, trying to calm her down.


"ShashashaKiroisrunningoutofspoilersShashasha"
Again thats not a spoiler..

Leaf didn't calm down and a tear ran down her face slowly. Fluffy growled and leapt at the spoiler, sinking his teeth into it. "ShashashaAngelsusedthesamewordforFoganghehagha-"
The spoiler cried out before its arms and tongue went limp, it died. Fluffy let go and returned to Leaf, sitting down next to her. "I-It's...gone?"

Rol nodded to Leaf happy reply while Jex returned with the spoil(er)s of war. After the ensuing chaos Rol sighed. 

"Maybe trying to get a spoiler to talk was a bad idea." He scratched the back of his head. "We even made our helpful elf friend cry, we are poor guests."

Jex grunted and batted his staff, releasing the Spoiler from the magical grasp. He had thought the color of the Spoiler and the way it acted earlier signified its intelligence or even its ranking among the Spoilers but it seemed as if there was no difference after all.

"Damn it."

He sighed and turned, looking at the Spoilers still frozen into the ground. He started walking off to where they were originally headed.

"Let's go."

Just before they left the dead spoiler coughed up a few gems and a golden cup. Leaf got back on her feet and wiped the remaining tears off her face. "Hey look, it dropped some loot. You could sell the cup, I'm sure it's worth a lot... You'll probably have to wash it first though."
This was good news as they didn't have much money left.

(I divided Scott's gems among you two and with the spoilers gems you both now have 9 gems. And a golden cup.
You won't have to worry about food, you'll get free meals at the farm. Because I'm too lazy to keep track of that.)

Fluffy took a piece of spoiler and ate it while walking along with the group. He took flight again once he finished his meal. Leaf was much more quiet than otherwise, she was still a bit shaken up by the spoiler incident.
The group reached a large river that seemed too deep to cross.
"There should be a bridge a bit further along the river."

"Boy Jex, you're getting 2edgy5me."

Rol took the gems and cup from Leaf. "I'll hold 'em." He placed them in his bullet pouch, he held the cup inspecting it. 

The bounty hunter walked besides the elf for a while, eventually asking. "So, do I assume prior traumatic with Spoilers is the cause of your lack of enthusiasm?"

"Huh? Umm... Yes. I-I'd rather not talk about it..No, I'd rather not even think about it."
The small elf looked down at her own feet as she walked, clutching her arms together.

A long awkward silence followed, it didn't break until fluffy let out a roar from above. He saw monsters ahead. This time it was a group of slimes. They didn't seem to notice the group yet. "Oh, just a bunch of slimes. Phew." Leaf sighed with relief.
