nidowin goes to assist lucy with a horn attack to ariados
The Ariados panics and attempts to flee, But Lucy and nidowin intercept it and attack together. They both get a critical hit and the ariados goes down.
Bruce finds a weak spot in the cocoon and tears it open, freeing Shelly. Although she is passed out currently. Bruce suffers from the poison still. He sits down, exhausted and in pain.
Lucifer levels up to lv 13! She learned fury attack!

You recall your pokemon and carry Shelly to the pokemon center. Once there you give your pokemon to the nurse to heal. You also let them take care of Shelly. You would ask for a normal doctor for her but she hasn't been injured. So it's not really needed.
Your pokemon are quickly healed up but Shelly needs time to rest. She'll be back up in the morning probably.
You are still a bit worried about Shelly though. After all she's your childhood friend. You could stay with her to make sure nothing goes wrong. She might appreciate that a lot.
But she was only wrapped in spider web. She wasn't bitten or anything, besides it's still a bit too early to go to bed. And you could use this time to train your pokemon a bit more.

You decide to stay with Shelly. The pokemon around here are too weak for proper training anyway. That and Shelly might be angry if she wakes up and you're gone.
Luckily Nothing goes wrong and it seems Shelly is completely safe. You start dozing off while sitting in the chair next to her bed. You try to resist but you can't stay awake for long. Your head drops on Shelly's bed, next to a still sleeping Shelly.
When you open your eyes you are confronted with the mysterious figure again.

But once you get Shelly's clothes you'll be able to move on at last. So no time to waste!

You search the room for clues. You don't find anything that could be a password. It seems her diary is your last option. This better be worth all this trouble, otherwise you'll be very annoyed. Or at least disappointed.
You skim through her diary and enter anything that could possibly be a password.
The diary is filled with more doodles than actual text. Some doodles appear to be pokemon, others seem to be of some person. At first it was just a stick figure but as the diary continues it becomes more detailed. It always seems to be the same person. That or Shelly lacks imagination when it comes to clothes and hairstyles.You skim through her diary and enter anything that could possibly be a password.
You have a slight suspicion that the figure may be you.
In the small bits of text you notice a few things. Apparently her favorite color is yellow. Her favorite pokemon is mareep and a lot of mareep are indeed drawn in the diary. It's not really a surprise since you remember her favorite tv show was about a bunch of mareep. And she likes eating hash browns a lot. One of the doodles of what seems to be you is even signed "hashbrown-kun".
Maybe one of these is the password.

And you immediatly close it again after seeing the names of the videos inside.
No luck, at least this time you were spared from actually seeing it. (bad dice roll, but not low enough for more eye damage.)
This was a total waste of time, you should head back before Shelly gets suspicious. You log off and grab the clothes you picked out. At least you'll get to see Shelly wear this. That should heal your eyes.
You head back out into the grass. A wild pidgey appears. (lv5) What do?

You go and close the door. However before you can say anything you catch a glimpse of inside.
You quickly say you're closing the door and do just that. Hoping she didn't see you looking.

You both grab your things and head out to the forest.

Bruce tackle or was it scratch?
Lucy's Peck is super effective The Mankey barely manages to stay up.
Bruce's Scratch does medium damage to the other mankey.
The two Mankey retaliate with Scratch. The first one hits Lucy directly and does a bit of damage.
The other Mankey gets a critical hit in on Bruce but he defends himself well And Stands his ground.

Lucy swoops down from up high and lands a critical hit, it's super effective!
Bruce jumps on the other one. It defends itself but its health is too low.
Both of the mankey faint.
Lucy and Bruce lv up to lv 14.
Outside of the Forest entrance you are stopped by an old man with a cane. "Hey, you two youngsters! Yeah you! This forest is too dangerous for you, I can't let you pass here. Unless you prove that you have what it takes to face the dangers inside! Fight me!" He yells at you and pulls a pokeball out of his pocket.
Before you can react a young short haired girl comes running towards you. "Grandpa! We've told you over and over to stop harrassing travelers!" She turns to you. "I'm terribly sorry for this, please forgive my grandfather. He gets like this if he hasn't had his coffee."
"Oh, it's okay." Shelly reassures the girl.
"But I was just making sure they can handle the viridian forest's dangers. If they get hurt inside it would be bad. The forest isn't as safe as it used to be in my day!"
"Grandpa, you ran out of pokemon in the last battle. You can't fight them anyway."
"Last battle? Oh yes.. That girl..she just burnt through all six of my pokemon."
"What did you expect? You only use weedle. And she used a fire type bugs are weak to that you know."
"But.. They're strong weedle! And my Kakuna isn't afraid of a little fire!"
"Is that why it tried running away, grandpa? Anyway, you need to go heal your pokemon. I'll make your coffee while you go to the pokemon center, okay?"
She turned back to you. "Again I must apologize for holding you up, you can go on now."
"But.. Hey! If you two wait here I'll be right back with my pokemon! You really shouldn't go on. The forest is a dangerous place these days."
"He's exaggerating, you don't have to wait."
The girl dragged her grandpa away.

You tell her it would be disrespectfull not to wait for the elder man.
"That's true but still. Being in the forest at night would be bad. what if another spider thing attacks?.. I really don't want to go through that again."
Despite her worries Shelly waits on the old man with you.
After ten minutes of waiting the old man still hasn't returned. You and Shelly talk for a bit to pass the time. "Hey, you think that girl with the fire pokemon they mentioned was the same one we fought? If it was then that means she's already ahead of us. I don't remember seeing her in the pokemon center though. Maybe I was still too shocked by yesterdays events and just didn't notice her."
Half an hour later the old man returns. "Oh! You actually waited! You really didn't have to.. Like my granddaughter said, I get weird when I haven't had my coffee. I must apologize for yelling at you earlier. If you still want we can battle now, my pokemon are back in top shape!" You nod and The old man sends out his first weedle.
